SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- What better way to celebrate America’s birthday with a special five lap event showcasing “America’s Race Cars”! Monday night, July 4th the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) will be a part of the Stars and Stripes 100 night at the “Fast Track”, the Rolling Wheels Raceway Park.

The Warner’s Horse Transport dash for cash presented by Motorsports Safety Systems and Pullens Truck Center will pit four of ESS’ best in five high paced laps around the Elbridge, NY oval. The event will wet the appetites for the fans when on July 22 and 23 the Fast Track Sprint Car Summer Shootout will be held where many of the best 360 sprint car drivers from two nations will be on hand.

“I think this will be a great way to get the fans excited for the upcoming Sprint Car Shootout that we have on July 22 and 23.” said DIRTcar NE’s marketing director Jeff Hachmann. “I have to thank ESS for bringing this to us, we were looking for a car to display and they went way beyond by getting us four cars as well as doing a special race for the fans.”

The drivers that are slotted to be hand are some of the best in the ESS ranks which include current point leader Shawn Donath aboard the Doug Emery Motorsports #33. Right behind Donath in points is “The Cobra”, Chuck Hebing and his Roush-Yates Ford powered #45. Two-time ESS champion and fan favorite Lance Yonge will have his familiar #17J there with the final entry going to Jason Barney who’s #87 sports sponsorship from the Warner family and their horse transport business.

All four cars and drivers will be parked behind the grandstands for fans to meet and greet before they take to the track for hot laps and then the five lap dash. Officials are also working on a fifth car that will be on display all night for fans to see. Gates open at 5:00 with racing underway at 7:30, advanced ticket purchases will come with a free fan pit pass. Please call (315) 834-6606.

The Stars and Stripes 100 features the Super DIRTcar Series for the big block modifieds as well as a Mr. DIRTcar championship series event for the sportsman and pro stock/stock car challenge. A huge fireworks display will cap off the evening in a great way to celebrate our nation’s birthday.
