AKWESASNE, N.Y. -- There will be plenty of action in store for everyone this Friday Night at Mohawk International Raceway as the Empire Super Sprints and Go Nuclear Late Models return to the track along with the second round of the Frenchie's 'Chevy Runs Deep' Modified Series plus a regular show for the Sportsman, Mod Lites and Bandits, plus a huge fireworks display.

After getting rained out earlier this year, the Empire Super Sprints return for to the track to kick off their SUNY Canton Shootout Weekend. The Go Nuclear Late Models will also return for their rescheduled race, after heavy rain and hail, and then another passing shower forced track officials to postpone the show from their original June 8th date.

The 50 lap Frenchie's 358 Modified Series will resume this weekend and a strong field of Modifieds are expected. Dale Planck took the win in the first race back in May over Carey Terrance, Billy Dunn, Chris Raabe and Matt Billings, and all drivers will be in action as they battle for the coveted Frenchie's championship.

General Admission for this spectacular show is just $25 for adults, and $22 for students and seniors. Children age 12 and under will be admitted for only $10. Pit admission is $32 with DIRTcar license and $35 without. Pit Gates open at 3pm, General Admission opens at 5pm, with racing starting promptly at 7:45pm.

Mohawk International Raceway is located in Akwesasne, NY, midway between the Seaway International Bridge to Cornwall, ONT and the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino. From Route 37, turn south onto Frogtown Road. Racing is held on Friday nights at 7:45 PM from May through September, featuring the Frenchie's Chevrolet DIRTcar 358 Modifieds, Sportsman and Pro Stocks, as well as the Bandit division.
