FOREST PARK, Ill. -- New awards from R2C Performance Products will be enroute to drivers in four IMCA divisions and the Deery Brothers Summer Series this season.

Each of the five Modified regional champions, the national Modified rookie of the year and second through fifth place finishers in the IMCA Late Model tour receive 4-barrel air filter bases from the Forest Park, Ill., manufacturer.

The highest finishing driver in national IMCA Sunoco Stock Car point standings competing with a limited cubic engine and top finishing Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Chassis Southern SportMod drivers competing with claim engines all earn 4412 air filter bases.

Winners of 30 designated Modified specials and all Deery feature winners receive $50 product certificates. The Deery champion and rookie of the year also get R10522 air filters.

Deery Series drivers are required to display two R2C decals on their race car to be eligible. Certificates for their awards will be mailed following the conclusion of the series in September; Modified, Stock Car and SportMod awards will be presented during the national banquet in November or mailed in early December.

Information about R2C-made air filters is available by calling 877 488-6211 and at the www.R2Cperformance.com website.

"The newest expansion of this program focuses on new air filter bases for 4-barrel and 4412 carburetor applications,” noted IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “Combined with the air filter awards and product certificates R2C has put together a variety of ways to give back and benefit IMCA racers in 2012."
