BECHTELSVILLE, Pa. -- Fireworks, both off the track and on the track, will be the big attraction at Grandview Speedway on Saturday, July 7th. Baro Trucking will sponsor a wonderful holiday show that will include the fireworks of Late Model stock cars battling for the win in their biggest race of the season, the Firecracker 40. With four wins to his credit this season and fresh off a win last Saturday Mike Kellner has to be considered a strong favorite.

Always popular with fans is the Holiday Fireworks show that is presented to celebrate the Independence Day weekend. Saturday night the sky above the Bechtelsville clay oval will be bright with another great fireworks display.

And the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, the primary division of competition, will be featured in another action packed show. Recent action has seen some new winners in victory lane. Doug Manmiller won on the final lap of the 30-lap feature last Saturday taking home $2,900 for his efforts.

Fans will be anxious to see if Duane Howard, a seven time winner, can return to victory lane, or will it be someone else. There have been five different feature winners so far at the midway point of the season.

A full series of qualifying events in each division will be topped off by the Firecracker 40 for the Late Models and a 30-lap main event for the NASCAR 358 Modifieds.

And six lucky youngsters will go home with bicycles courtesy of Kory Fleming and his race team sponsors.

Admission for this always crowd pleasing Holiday show will be $20 for adults, $5 for young people 6 through 12 and under 6 will be admitted FREE. Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. with the green flag dropping for racing action at 7:30 p.m. Pit gates are open at 4 p.m.

Grandview Speedway is located on Passmore Road just off Route 100 in Bechtelsville, PA, 10 miles north of Pottstown. For information check in at www.grandviewspeedway.com or telephone 610.754-7688.
