NEW CASTLE, Ind. -- Friday night June 2 UMRA Midgets will be making their first of four appearances to Mt Lawn for the 2006 season. Last year Terry Goff of Fortville owned the Mt Lawn tri-oval as he won all three races held at the historic oval in 2005. Joining the Midgets will be Pro Thunders and Hornets. The Hornet event will be a points race for that division for 2006.

On Saturday June 3 Mt Lawn will host an old timers reunion at the speedway from 1:00 to 4:30. There will be food served, a group photo will be taken and ample time to look at pictures and tell tails of days gone by from great history of Mt Lawn. Attendees will be invited to stay for the evening of racing and introduction to the crowd during intermission. Racing will consist of the Motion Motors Late Models, Big-O Tire Thunders and Hornets with the pit gate opening at 4:00, grandstand and practice starting at 5:00 with racing at 7:30. Admission for each night of racing will be $9 for adults and $4 for kids 6-10 with 5 and under free.
