INDIANAPOLIS -- The Mopar USAC Western Midget Series resumes Saturday night at Santa Maria (Calif.) Speedway and female driver Shannon McQueen continues to pace the field in search of her first USAC driving title.

McQueen is 55 points ahead of Nick Chivello in the latest standings, with Scott Pierovich third, 76 in arrears.

Brad Kuhn won at Santa Maria earlier in the season in a race where McQueen took third behind Kuhn and Jake Swanson. Swanson currently holds down the number four ranking in the standings.
