INDIANAPOLIS -- Scott Holcomb, fresh from his second USAC DMA Midget feature victory of the season, eyes an August 25 race at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. as the co-series point leader.

Holcomb, of Granby, Conn., led the last six laps of Saturday night’s 25-lapper at Bear Ridge to post the win over Tim Gallant, Kevin Chaffee, Scott Viets and Ray Miller. Chaffee shares the series point lead with Holcomb heading into the August 25 race.

Jamie Spalding led the first seven laps of Saturday’s race, defending series champ Joe Krawiec led four laps and Gallant led the next eight before yielding to Holcomb.
