INDIANAPOLIS -- Phoenix, Ariz. driver Bryant Dawson leads the USAC Las Vegas Ignite Midget standings going into this weekend’s only USAC activity at the Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway Bullring.

Jared Irvin of Midland, N.C. wrapped up his 2012 USAC Eastern Ignite championship by taking both 20-lap features at Saturday’s finales at Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, N.C.

Irvan passed Ryan Krachun on lap 15 and led the last six laps to beat Krachun, Tyler Corriher, Matt Lundstrom and Nic Davison. In the nightcap, Matt Supan led the first 12 laps before yielding to Irvan. Supan finished second ahead of Krachun, Davidson and Corriher.
