FAIRMOUNT, Ind. -- Both Mid American Sprint Series events at Ohio’s Attica Raceway Park this summer will offer higher than standard M.A.S.S. purse structures. The events, scheduled for June 10 and August 19, will pay $3,000 to the winner of the 30-lap feature, with $325 to start. The first four positions as well as the last eight spots at each event will feature increased purse structures.

“We have been fortunate to receive additional support for these two events”, stated Joe Darmofal, Mid-Am General Partner. “We feel this move will encourage more of our non Ohio based teams to support our two northern Ohio events”, he added.

The revised purse for these events will be posted on the series website, www.midamericansprintseries.com , in the near future, and will also be part of a general mailing to the series’ member teams. Participant membership applications can now be obtained from the website, or by calling 1-419-467-4254. Late additions to the 2005 schedule are still being negotiated, and will be posted to the website as they occur.
