MANASSAS, Va. -- Tony Harris in the Harris Moving Sprinter showed the field how to haul Saturday night as he fixed the set up problems that troubled him last visit and turned in a pavement pounding win. Bill Rice showed the way in heat one and Tony Harris topped heat two. Carl Simmonds and Bill Rice lead the feild to green with Simmonds out first leading lap one before Rice came back around the top to lead lap two with Tony Harris and Charlie Ware right behind. As lap six came up Tony Harris went low and in to the lead leaving Rice to fend off the pack as he eased way. Anthony Linkenhoker was showing speed as he made his way to second but it was a little late to catch Harris with the laps left as he was closing withCheckered flag waving over Tony. At the line it was Tony Harris, Anthony Linkenhoker, Charlie Ware, Keith Laird, Bill Rice, Chris Ware, Carl Simmonds and Ron Moyers.
