MORRICE, Mich. -- The Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints are presenting the 2005 AVSS membership forms online. For pre-registration with the fastest short track cars in the world, simply log on to http://www.supersprints.com and follow the instructions. Pre-registration will mean less time spent on opening day to register your race team.

Opening day for the AVSS is set for May 7 at Auto City Speedway. The sprint cars of the AVSS are the fastest cars to ever circle the 1/2 mile oval located in Clio, MI. Nearly 30 cars are expected to compete on May 7, with over 20 team and driver combinations competing full time with the AVSS in 2005. No other winged pavement sprint car organization can claim the car count numbers, or the pure speed of the AVSS. Several teams have verbally committed to "stepping up" to race with the AVSS in 2005 from other clubs around the country. AVSS sprint cars are known for their high speeds, and close racing. While directly holding world record speeds at tracks such as Kalamazoo Speedway (3/8th mile), Toledo Speedway (1/2 mile) , Winchester Speedway (1/2 mile) and Salem Speedway (.555 mile), AVSS teams also hold world record speeds for 1/4 miles tracks as well.

For more information on the fastest short track cars in the world, log on to the official AVSS website at http://www.supersprints.com.
