Tuesday, September 25, 2007 Wenrick Wins 2007 NSCA Dart Pro Street World Championship
 by Lance Huff
Jarod Wenrick, driver of the Wenrick Motorsports Procharged 68 Camaro takes a runner up finish at the NSCA World Finals at National Trail Raceway to clinch the points championship. Wenrick came into the weekend with a slim lead over New York’s Vinny Demeri however, with a strong 6.45 #1 qualifying effort by the team they just needed to stay one round ahead of Demeri. Demeri’s early exit in the first round sealed the deal and a spectacular rookie season in Pro Street for Wenrick Motorsports.
Wenrick said “It would have been great for the NSCA and the fans to see us meet Vinny in the finals to decide the championship however, it made the day just a lot of fun knowing the championship chase was over and we could relax and race.” The team had a very solid weekend qualifying with a 6.45 and running a 43, 44, and 45 in eliminations before shaking the tires in the final. Jarod would like to give a special thanks to his wife Mari, crew Lance Huff and Chris Raulston and sponsors Procharger, The Supercharger Store, MFI, VP Fuels, and Value Added Packaging. Wenrick Motorsport is going to get busy preparing the car for the trip to Orlando next month for the World Street Nationals.
