WOODHULL, N.Y. -- Saturday, August 12, Woodhull Raceway will be home of some twenty plus ground pounding, sleek, low to the ground, three wheeling dirt late models for 15th Annual ULMS Late Model Reunion presented by R&R Motorsports. Some of the top regions dirt late model stars are expected to be on hand.

The 30 lap event will pay $2000 to the winner and $200 to start. Defending Reunion winner, Bob Close of Eldred, PA will be back to defend his title along with past winners, Al Brewer of Belfast, NY, Mike Wonderling of Wellsville, NY, Jeff Hoffman of Clarendon, PA.. Also scheduled to be on hand as well is current ULMS Rookie of the Year contenders, Doug Ricotta, Greg Oakes, Jason Dupont, defending ULMS champion, Rick Isadore, Jim Mazur, Dave Norton, John Ritter and Dan Stone of Thompson, PA making his first ever visit to the high banks of Woodhull.

This event is sanctioned by the United Late Model Series and full ULMS rules including open tire rule, draw and redraw format will be in place. Unlike in past years, this event is open for all dirt late models.

Also, Wades Building Supply in Addison, NY has added to the excitement by posting a $1000.00 purse for the Late Model/Modified challenge race with the winner pocketing $500.00. Maple City Dodge in Hornell, NY will again put up a $250.00 purse for the Race of Champions event that pits all the past winners of the Reunion against each other. Two years ago, Al Brewer and Bob Close swapped sheet metal on the last lap with Brewer getting the win.

Last year, mother nature rained on the parade two weeks in a row, making it the first time in fifteen years this event was completely wiped out. This year, the event has three rain dates set for the very following day (Sunday, August 13th) and the following weekend (Sat Aug 19th or 20th) if needed.
Woodhull Raceway will also be featuring a full card of their regular racing program. Woodhull Raceway is located off Rte 417 in Woodhull, NY.
