Future Stars to Host Trio of Free Webinars to Help Racers Through Tough Economy

HARRISBURG, N.C. -- In recognition of our two-year anniversary, Andy Hillenburg’s Future Stars in Racing Academy presents a trio of free, live online Webinars, giving back to the racing community and helping racers prepare for the 2009 season, with all its challenges on and off the track.

This triple-header of online seminars requires no tuition fee, merely a couple of hours of your time, in front of your computer, in the comfort of your own home.

Save on travel, lodging, meals and trade show fees by taking advantage of our decades of experience, at no cost to you!

Why travel hundreds or even thousands of miles, when you can stay home and benefit from the same knowledge and experience that has driven multi-million dollar sponsorship programs; witnessed and reported on races for decades, and taken part in some of the most exciting events in racing?

“Everyone has felt the impact of our economy on their racing,” said Academy founder Rolfe Schnur. “We sat down and thought about how we could help racers from all walks of life and decided to host three free Webinars as a way of thanking our loyal customers of the last two years, as well as helping out racers who are trying to stretch their dollars even further for 2009.”

The first Webinar, starting at 7:00 PM Eastern time, Monday evening, November 10, will cover sponsorship: how to go about finding, getting and keeping sponsors. This one seminar might cost several hundred dollars at a trade show or conference, yet we’re giving it away to say ‘Thank You’ to our friends in racing.

The second evening, two weeks later on November 24 at the same time, will cover communication skills. If you’ve ever suffered through a post-race interview, whether as the interviewee or a spectator, you know the importance of being able to communicate clearly and to the point. Here’s your open invitation to learn how to communicate effectively – with the crew, the media and even more importantly today, potential sponsors.

Currently scheduled for December 1, Andy Hillenburg, owner of Fast Track High Performance Driving School and Rockingham Speedway, will lay down the foundation for a successful 2009 with “Preparing for 2009” as his topic. “Our goal with Future Stars is to provide you with the basic tools that you will need to succeed in racing,” said Hillenburg. “With the tough economy, you need the tools these Webinars provide more than ever before.”

The three Webinars are just the start: with 2009 around the corner, plans are already being made for the new year’s Webinars, so stay in tune and watch for the invitations for next year’s lineup. For an invitation to these Webinars, email the Academy at sponsorland@futurestarsinracing.com or call 704.231.2130.

Andy Hillenburg’s Future Stars in Racing Academy helps prepare drivers for success inside and outside the racecar. Racers can now choose the training programs, professional PR and marketing services or custom driving schools on an a la carte basis to fit their needs. The Academy features a staff with decades of experience in all aspects of motorsports. To learn more about the Academy, go to www.futurestarsinracing.com.
