Why Every Sponsorship Deal Should Include a Written Agreement

LANGHORNE, Pa. -- The majority of sponsorship deals have no written agreements.

That can be considered good news or bad news. Attorney Michael K. Spotts, writing in the February edition of Motorsports Sponsorship Marketing News, feels it is important for all sponsorship deals to have a written agreement.

He outlines the reasons why in his must read article and even adds an actual marketing agreement that can be put to use immediately.

Spotts, an attorney with offices in Florida and Maryland, provides legal advice to teams, series, event promoters and sponsors.

Using the marketing agreement and following Spotts’ instructions will be worth much more than the actual cost of an annual subscription to the newsletter that is now it its 28th year of publication.

“The Spotts article along with articles by Scott Pacich, Marcie Barlow, Joe Verdegan and more make this one of the best issues we have ever produced,” said publisher and noted sponsorship expert Ernie Saxton. “We are particularly proud of this issue and we feel that everyone that receives a copy will find it well worth the investment and will put it to good use.”

Also included in the February issue is information on a new sponsorship presentation service called “Motorsports on Demand” that will be helpful in securing serious sponsorship support.

New subscribers to Motorsports Sponsorship Marketing News will receive the February issue with the marketing agreement FREE with their new subscription, priced at just $39.95, actually starting with the next edition.

Even a better offer is a two year subscription for just $60.00.

Subscriptions are available by telephoning Ernie Saxton at 215.752.7797 and all major credit cards are accepted.

Additional information on the newsletter and services offered by Ernie Saxton Communications, Inc. is available at www.saxtonsponsormarket.com.

Those wishing to subscribe by mail can make checks payable to ESC, Inc. and mail to 1448 Hollywood Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047.
