'James House Memorial' Rules for Late Models at Caney Valley Speedway Released

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. -- Late model rules and payout information for the “James House Memorial” at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas slated for Saturday night, August 18th have been released. The rules will be that of the CVS DIRTcar late model division and this rule will work really well for the ULMA late model competitors. The championship feature winner on this night in the late model division will earn $2066 while just starting the twenty-four car feature finale pays $300.

Rules package is as follows:

CANEY VALLEY SPEEDWAY 2012 RULES DIRTcar SERIES Tires Hoosier D55, WRS/WRS-2, LM-40 or American Racer MD-56 Must durometer 55 Weight 2300 Lbs. with aluminum motor Weight 2200 Lbs. with steel motor Spoiler height with aluminum motor is 8 inches maximum Spoiler height with steel motor is 10 inches maximum Maximum width of rear spoiler including braces and supports is 72 inches May run nose wings not to exceed 3 inches tall and not to extend past nose filler onto hood. (two maximum).

Here is the championship feature payout: 1) $2066, 2) $1250, 3) $1000, 4) $750, 5) $600, 6) $550, 7) $525, 8) $500, 9) $475, 10) $450, 11) $425, 12) $400, 13) $375, 14) $350, 15) $345, 16) $340, 17) $335, 18) $330, 19) $325, 20) $320, 21) $315, 22) $310, 23) $305, 24) $300.

Entry fee is $100 for car and driver, pit passes are $30.

Grandstand tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for seniors, ages 6 to 12 $5 while ages five and under will be admitted free.
