BEEBE, Ark. -- The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model tour will travel to southeast Missouri and northeast Arkansas this weekend, June 8th-9th, for a pair of $2,000-to-win events.

The tour was in action last Saturday at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas), and Russellville, Arkansas' driver Johnny Virden raced to his first career CCSDS win, and with the triumph became the seventh different winner in the tour's first eight events this season.

Despite issues at Riverside International Speedway, Robert Baker, left the event still holding a 14 point advantage over Jon Mitchell. Johnny Virden, Brandon Smith, Curtis Cook, Kyle Beard, Jon Kirby, Keith Lawson, Larry Campbell, and Johnny Virden round out the top ten in the current standings.

Robert Baker also continues to lead the Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year standings over Chandler Petty and Kenneth Jackson.

On Friday evening, June 8th the tour will make its first of two trips to the confines of Malden Speedway (Malden, Missouri) for a $2,000-to-win/$300-to-start event. In 2011 three events were scheduled for the facility with Wendell Wallace and Rodney Melvin each scoring victories, while the third event was nixed by rain. Also on the program will be Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Open Wheel Modifieds, E-Mods, and Mini Stocks. Pits open at 4pm with grandstands opening at 5pm. Racing action is scheduled to get underway at 7:30pm. For more information, please visit www.MaldenSpeedway.com .

On Saturday night, June 9th the CCSDS competitors will travel to Northeast Arkansas Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) for a $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start, 35 lap event. The program will also mark the opener of the 2012 RiceTec Summer Series, which will be headlined by a mini-series of six events that will award the best performing drivers in those six races with cash and contingency prizes. In three scheduled appearances at NEA Speedway in 2011 Jesse Stovall and Brandon Smith claimed wins, while rain was the victor in the third event. Joining the CCSDS Super Late Models on the card this Saturday night will be Open Wheel Modifieds, Street Stocks, E-Mods, Factory Stocks, and Mini Stocks.
