 Bob Casey (Jennerstown Speedway Photo) | JENNERSTOWN, Pa. -- State Treasurer Bob Casey will serve as Grand Marshal for Saturday evenings (July 1) NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series racing event at Jennerstown Speedway.
Casey will give the traditional command for drivers to start their engines prior to the races, and will also join speedway mascot ‘Thunder’ to hand out American flags as patrons enter the Somerset County half-mile paved motorsports facility.
Jennerstown will be presenting Advance Auto Parts Stars & Stripes Fan Appreciation Night, featuring $4.00 general admission for all spectators.
In addition to the four-division NASCAR race card, there will be an on-track autograph session, where fans will be permitted trackside to meet their racing heroes. Capping the program will be a gigantic fireworks exhibition.
Spectator gates will open at 5:00 pm, with the autograph session set to begin at 6:00. The first race will get the green flag at 7:00.
