NOTES Rob Fuller and the No. 71 Mahindra Tractors Chevrolet
R3 Motorsports and TRG Motorsports Team Up: R3 Motorsports and TRG Motorsports are teaming up to run the Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway this weekend. Rob Fuller, co-owner of R3 Motorsports, will be behind the wheel of the No. 71 Mahindra Tractors Chevrolet with Tim Rice calling the shots as Crew Chief.
About Rob Fuller: Rob Fuller has been around racing his entire life. The Fuller family, one of the most successful in NASCAR history, has rallied for over 250 wins up and down the East Coast. Rob Fuller, who won his first race at 5 years of age, grew up racing go-karts, modified and late models before moving to North Carolina. During his time working on cars Fuller became known as the fastest rear tire changer in the NASCAR garage while racking up 48 NASCAR victories working for various teams. In 2007 Rob Fuller started his own team, which now runs under the R3 Banner. Here he fulfills his driving itch in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), late models and modifieds throughout the year.
Martinsville History: Rob Fuller will be making his first NCWTS start at Martinsville Speedway on Friday. He has two previous starts at the half-mile oval, one in a modified and one in a late model.
Rob Fuller NCWTS History: Fuller has three career NCWTS starts, all of which have come during the 2009 season. Fuller’s previous starts came at Bristol Motor Speedway, O’Reilly Raceway Park and New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Rob Fuller on Teaming Up With TRG Motorsports: “I am really excited every time I race at Martinsville Speedway. I really wanted to race the truck here but the R3 Nationwide teams are competing in Memphis. TRG stepped up to help out and give me the opportunity for a solid run at Martinsville this weekend. I can’t thank them enough for that.”
Rob Fuller on Racing at Martinsville Speedway: “This will be the first time I race the truck at Martinsville. It is one of NASCAR’s oldest tracks and has a lot of history. While growing up I got to watch my dad and my heroes Ritchie Evans and Charlie J race here in the early 80’s so it has always been a special place to me. Martinsville is a physical race track. We need to focus on keeping the fenders on the truck and we should come out with a solid finish.”
