In September, Penske Racing officially announced that Nationwide Series driver Brad Keselowski would make the move to Penske Racing in 2010 to drive the team's No. 12 Sprint Cup Series entry while also competing full-time in the Nationwide Series in a second car for the Penske organization.

An announcement was made yesterday that Keselowski will get an early start racing for Penske, at least on the Cup side. He'll race the No. 12, replacing David Stremme, for the the final three races of the 2009 season -- Nov. 8 at Texas, Nov. 15 at Phoenix, and Nov. 22 at Homestead-Miami.

"Penske Racing wants to give Brad an opportunity to work with the team and get to know the race car as we prepare for the 2010 season," team owner Roger Penske said. "These three races will provide a good base for both Brad and the team as we head into next year."

So far this season, Keselowski has competed in 12 Sprint Cup races, some for Hendrick Motorsports and some with Phoenix Racing. His results in those 12 events include a win at Talladega Superspeedway in April and four top-10s.

"We all have high expectations for next season and beyond and being able to race with the team this year will only help us as we look toward 2010," Keselowski said.
