O’Reilly Challenge

· Leffler and Kahne Sport Matching Great Clips Camrys at Texas Motor Speedway…
Not one, but two Great Clips Camrys will take to the track in Saturday’s O’Reilly Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway. In addition to Leffler, Kasey Kahne will also be behind the wheel of a Great Clips Camry (Braun Racing’s No. 10 entry).

· Leffler’s Captured his First Career Nationwide Series Pole at Texas
In his first start at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) in 2000, Leffler captured his first Nationwide Series pole. Two years later, he sat on the pole for his first Camping World Truck Series race at the Fort Worth-based track.

· Leffler’s Texas Nationwide Series Highlights
Leffler has ten Nationwide Series starts at Texas with one pole (2000), three top-10 finishes and five top-15 finishes to his credit. In the series’ last stop at the 1.5-mile tri-oval, Leffler posted a 12th-place finish after starting 13th.

· Happy “Belated” Birthday to crew chief, Scott Zipadelli
During the off-week, crew chief of the No. 38 Great Clips Toyota, Scott Zipadelli, celebrated the “big 40!” On October 29th, the East Haddam, Conn.-native celebrated the milestone birthday with family and friends.

LEFFLER ON TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY
“Texas Motor Speedway is fast and slick with a wide racing surface. With age, it gets slicker and the groove gets wider. Turn two is the trouble spot there. The banking holds you really good and then, at the last second, the banking falls off. If you aren’t careful you can get caught out there and pick up a bad push at the very end, or if you’re pushing before that, it can snap you loose. It definitely has its own unique characteristics, but it’s a great track and the racing is always really good there.

This weekend is special, because you are going to see two Great Clips cars on the race track. Kasey Kahne will be driving the No. 10 Great Clips Camry which I know is something that all of the Great Clips franchisees and employees are really excited about. Kasey is a good friend, so it will be fun to work together throughout the weekend. Between the two of us, I think we have a good shot at taking Great Clips back to victory lane!”
