SCHERERVILLE, Ind. -- Stephen Wallace NASCAR Nationwide driver and son of 1989 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Rusty Wallace has entered the 11th annual Elmer Musgrave twin 56-lap event presented by Texas Corral Sat Nite June 16. Wallace will make his first appearance at the Illiana Motor Speedway an ASA Member track with a strong resume including a win in the Snowball Derby, arguably the biggest short track event in the United States. Also on the night’s card, INEX Buys Off Broadway Legends and Make It Straight Pure stocks. A Star-Studded field is expected, including Eddie Hoffman, First time feature winner DJ Weltmeyer, Five-time track champion Mike White and John Nutley. The event is held in the memory and honor of the late Elmer Musgrave, who passed away in 2000. Musgrave was a long-time Chicagoland stock car competitor, racing at tracks throughout the Midwest and the Chicago area. His son, Ted Musgrave, the 2005 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion, will be on hand for a special autograph session.
