Wednesday, July 18, 2012 Raceway Celebrates 25th Anniversary of NHRA with Nitro Generation Starting Line Party
 by John Cardinale
SONOMA, Calif. -- Race fans can join John Force, 15-time NHRA Funny Car champion and driver of the Castrol GTX High Mileage Ford Mustang, as well as his daughter, Courtney, at the 25th annual NHRA Sonoma Nationals on Sunday, July 29. Force, a seven-time winner in Sonoma, will be featured in the Nitro Generation Starting Line Party ticket package, which includes a reserved seat in the main grandstand and access to a special Q&A with John and Courtney prior to final eliminations on Sunday. The Q&A will be followed by a Track Walk down the strip, also with John and Courtney, driver of the Traxxas Radio Control Ford and 2012 NHRA Rookie of the Year contender. The package also includes a Thunder Alley pass, the closest access to the strip for race fans. This is just one of many elements planned for the 25th anniversary of NHRA drag racing in Sonoma. Upgrade cost for the Nitro Generation Starting Line Party ticket package is just $20, or $80 for the full ticket.
