B+ Racing

The drivers of The B+ Foundation Fall-Line Motorsports BMW in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, Al Carter and Hugh Plumb, traveled to Illinois and visited the Fall-Line Motorsports team shop on Friday afternoon before heading to Northwestern Univeristy where they attended the annual Dance Marathon and supported the students in their dancing effort.

Eveything started on Friday Friday when around 1,300 Northwestern University students began dancing for 30 straight hours with the goal of raising nearly $1 million for The B+ Foundation and a local charity. At the end the dancing students beat last year's goal and raised over $1.1 million during the 38th annual Northwestern University Dance Marathon!

As the primary beneficiary this year, The B+ Foundation receives $717,770! This will help familiies in the Chicago area and across the country, as well as fund needed research. Thank you Northwestern students!

ABOUT THE B+ FOUNDATION: The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation honors the memory of Andrew McDonough. Andrew's mom, dad and sister founded The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. The overall goal of The B+ Foundationis to "Do Good". During the ten races of the 2012 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, Al Carter and Hugh Plumb visit kids with cancer in hospitals before racing events to make a positive difference and keep the "B+" message alive through outreach efforts and talks. The B+ Foundation provides financial assistance to families of children with cancer. In 2011, The B+ Foundation awarded over $500,000 to families of children with cancer while giving nearly $300,000 to support research efforts.
