INDIANAPOLIS -- The 2012 USAC/STARS D1 Midget Series returns to Grundy County Speedway Saturday night and Patrick WIlda and Jim Anderson will battle for the point lead, separated by just two points going into the race.

Wilda has finished second in both previous D1 outings this season. Anderson won the series opener but finished sixth in round two.

Kody Swanson won the last D1 race at Grundy County, which has proven to be one of America’s most competitive short tracks.

Saturday is “Ladies Night” at the one-third-mile paved oval.
