CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- After mother nature forced the postponement of Round Eight of the Jack in the Box Summer Shootout Series on Tuesday, August 7th, Kaz Grala went to Victory Lane at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the Legend Car make-up race on Tuesday, August 14th. The win was the second consecutive for Grala in his OzLINK sponsored No. 3 car, who also took the checkered flag in the Round Seven event on July 31st, making him the only driver in his division to earn multiple wins during the 2012 Summer Shootout Series. “I am so proud to be the only driver to get more than one win during this series,” said 13-year-old Grala. “The number of single-race winners shows how competitive our division is and what a major accomplishment this second win is for our team. My crew chief, Mark Nahrstedt, and the rest of the Dennis Lambert Racing team, has worked incredibly hard all summer long and the effort is paying off.” The victory has again moved the Boston-native higher in the Series point standings. He now sits fourth out of nearly 40 drivers competing in his division; Grala is the only rookie driver within the top-10. The young driver will return to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the next round of the Jack in the Box Summer Shootout Series on Tuesday, August 21st.
