ALLISON, Iowa -- Points leader Trevor Hunt finally got his first Industrial Material Surplus Iron Man Challenge trophy with a wire-to-wire victory in the USRA B-Mod main event Friday night at the Highway 3 Raceway in Allison, Iowa.

The 13-year-old from Liberty, Mo., led all 18 laps en route to a $500 payday.

Nashua's Alex Zwanziger took home the runner-up paycheck while Ben Kates of Tonganoxie, Kan., was third. Joel Rust of Grundy Center and Jason Schlangen of Cresco rounded out the top-5 finishers.

In the USRA Stock Car main event, Tory Reicks of Waucoma took the win and the $400 top prize. Polk City’s Steve Jackson was second, Arlen Hoy of Marble Rock took the third spot, Dan Feltus of Allison finished fourth and Ryan Leeman of Roland wound up fifth.

Polesitter Lyle Oberhelman of Fort Dodge pocketed $300 by winning the USRA Hobby Stock feature. Second through fifth were Ryan Bochmann of Greene, Brad Beadle of Bristow, Bob Lier of Waukon and Myles Michehl of Fort Dodge.

The Industrial Material Surplus Iron Man Challenge featuring USRA B-Mods will be back in action Saturday at the Upper Iowa Speedway in Decorah, Iowa, with another $500-to-win feature on tap.

The Upper Iowa Speedway is a 1/4-mile semi-banked clay oval located 1.8 miles east of US 52 on SR 9, then 1.0 mile northwest on Montgomery St., then northeast on E. The next Iron Man Challenge event featuring the USRA Stock Cars will be Thursday, July 26, at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., when they will join the USMTS Modifieds at the 2nd Annual World Modified Dirt Track Championship presented by Hanson Tire Service.
