CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- The American Le Mans Series continues to excite fans from across the country at the third race of the 2012 season held on May 12 in Monterey, California.
The week long events kicked off Wednesday, May 9, as students at Le Mesa Elementary school had the chance to participate in the Fueling Potential: Racing to Win program, teaching healthy lifestyle choices that can reduce their risk of cancer.
“The support we have received from the American Le Mans Series is remarkable,” said Ray Lallier, National Resource Development and Special Projects Director for the Austin Hatcher Foundation. “The partnership has allowed us to reach children from coast to coast providing healthy lifestyle programs to schools and diversionary therapy to children’s hospitals in each race city.”
At 11:30PST on May 12, The Dyson Racing Team will host an American Le Mans Series Live auction to directly benefit the Austin Hatcher Foundation through the sale of unique one of a kind autographed race memorabilia.
Race fans who cannot attend the auction can still show their support by texting “Hatch” to “501501” to donate $10.
