WEEDSPORT, N.Y. -- In September of 2010 Joey Sylvester launched himself and his 4 ton monster truck Bad Habit into the world record books by breaking the legendary Bigfoot’s distance record at the 10th annual Cornfield 500 in Columbus, PA. All the excitement and drama of the world record jump was filmed by Team E Media, and will now be released to the world on Youtube.com. The show, which is 45 minutes long, will debut August 15th and included all the build-up to the jump including the devastating practice crash that nearly ended the record attempt before it began. “I’m looking forward to the world being able to witness my world record jump and all the hard work and preparation that went into it,” says Bad Habit driver Joey Sylvester. “There are a lot of people who have not yet seen the actual successful jump and now they can share the wild ride I took back in September 2010.”

The record jump by Joey Sylvester in Bad Habit was officially measured at 208ft breaking the previous record of 202ft set by Bigfoot. The release of the record jump comes as Bigfoot looks to reclaim the record in Indianapolis this September. “Broadcasting the jump was a timing thing, we were waiting for someone to attempt to break the record before releasing the jump,” says Team E President Pat Donnelly. “I’ve been in the TV industry for 30 years and it was mindboggling to see the video related to this project reach a million viewers on YouTube. It was then I knew YouTube would be a perfect platform to release the jump to the world. We are proud of what joey accomplished as an independent low finance team and glad sponsors stuck by us in order to deliver this jump to a huge world-wide audience.”

Building off the hype of Bigfoot’s attempt to reclaim the record, Team E Media projects that the Bad Habit record jump will reach the million viewer mark. “We posted video of the horrific practice crash and after three days on YouTube the video reached half a million viewers,” says Donnelly. “We believe that for sponsors this is a unique opportunity to reach a large audience. We will offer sponsors embedded logos in key parts of the show to guarantee all eyes will be watching.”

Though several sponsors have already signed on for the record jump, slots are still available. Interested parties can contact Team E Media at Pat@teamemedia.com , or Joey Sylvester at Joe@badhabit4X4.com. “Team E Media did a great job capturing all the crazy moments on film and compiling them all into a 45 minute show,” says Sylvester. “This is the first but certainly not the last record jump that my Bad Habit truck and I will be making.”

The record jump will debut on YouTube on August 15th, and can be found by searching Bad Habit’s World Record Monster Truck Jump the Show.
